1. Check the MIL on the gauge See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and
Diagnostic Overview.
Does the MIL stay on?
YES -
Go to the PGM-FI system's general troubleshooting information See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Testing and
Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.?
NO -
Go to step 2.
2. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), then wait for 10 seconds.
4. Press the MAIN switch ON.
5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 60 indicated?
YES -
Go to step 6.
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.?
6. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
7. Disconnect the ACC unit 20P connector.
8. Measure the resistance between ACC unit 20P connector terminals No. 10 and No. 20. There should be less than 70 Ohms.
Is the resistance as specified?
YES -
Faulty ACC unit; replace the ACC unit See: Cruise Control/Cruise Control Module/Service and Repair.?
NO -
Repair an open in the wire between the ACC unit and the branch of the F-CAN A line (F-CAN A H, F-CAN A L).?

Millimeter Wave Radar Communication Error
1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), then wait for 10 seconds.
3. Watch the ACC indicator and the CMBS indicator.
