CMBS Brake Control Prohibition
1. Check for VSA system DTCs with the HDS.
Are any DTCs indicated?
YES -
Troubleshoot the indicated VSA system DTC(s).?
NO -
Go to step 2.
2. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
3. Watch the CMBS indicator.
Does the CMBS indicator come on?
YES -
Go to step 4.
NO -
The system is OK at this time.?
4. Check for ACC system DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 103 indicated?
YES -
Check for loose or poor connections. If OK, update the ACC unit See: Cruise Control/Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning, then
recheck. If the ACC unit was already updated, replace the ACC unit. See: Cruise Control/Cruise Control Module/Service and Repair?
NO -
Troubleshoot the indicated DTC(s).?

DTC 105:
Dust or Dirt on the Millimeter Wave Radar
NOTE: When driving on a road with little traffic and minimal reflecting objects for the millimeter wave radar, DTC 105 is stored temporally. Also
DTC 105 is sometimes stored near overpasses and bodies of water. Check for dirt on the front surface of the millimeter wave radar.
1. Remove the front grille See: Body and Frame/Grille/Service and Repair/Front Grille Replacement.
2. Check for dust or dirt on the millimeter wave radar.
Is the surface dirty?
YES -
Clean the millimeter wave radar, then recheck the system.?
NO -
Go to step 3.
3. Check the installation of the front radar cover.
Is the front radar cover installed correctly?
YES -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.?
