2010 Acura Truck MDX V6-3.7L Page 202


NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot, and review the general troubleshooting information.



1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).



2. Check for DTCs with the HDS.



Is DTC 88 indicated with DTC 11, 13, 15, or 17 at the same time?



YES -



Go to step 9.



NO -



Go to step 3.



3. Clear the DTC with the HDS.



4. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), then turn it to ON (II) again.



5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.



Is DTC 11, 13, 15, or 17 indicated?



YES -



Go to step 6.



NO -



Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose terminals between the wheel speed sensor 2P connector and the VSA



modulator-control unit 46P connector. Check for a loose connection at G303. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting.?



6. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).



7. Check for loose terminals between the wheel speed sensor 2P connector and the VSA modulator-control unit 46P connector.



Are the connections OK?



YES -



Go to step 8.



NO -



Repair the connector or terminals if possible, or replace the harness, and retest.?



8. Check that the appropriate wheel speed sensor is properly mounted See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control



Systems/Wheel Speed Sensor/Service and Repair.



Is the wheel speed sensor installation OK?



YES -



Go to step 10.



NO -



Reinstall the wheel speed sensor See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Wheel Speed Sensor/Service and



Repair, then go to step 1.?



9. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).



10. Disconnect the VSA modulator-control unit 46P connector.
