NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot, and review the general troubleshooting information.



1. Update the VSA modulator-control unit See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Traction Control



Module/Testing and Inspection.



2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), then turn it to ON (II) again.



3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.



Is DTC 158 indicated?



YES -



Check for loose terminals in the VSA modulator-control unit 47P connector. If necessary, substitute a known-good VSA modulator-control unit,



and retest See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Traction Control Module/Service and Repair.?



NO -



The system is OK at this time.?

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) DTC Troubleshooting: 199



DTC 199:



Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) unit Programming Error



NOTE:



- This DTC is indicated when a ACC unit update is not complete.



- Do not turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) while updating the ACC unit. If you turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) before completion, the



ACC unit will be damaged.



1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.



2. Do the ACC unit update procedure See: Cruise Control/Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning.



3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.



Is DTC 199 indicated?



YES -



Faulty ACC unit; replace the ACC unit See: Cruise Control/Cruise Control Module/Service and Repair, then recheck.?



NO -



The update is complete.?

Navigation System DTC Troubleshooting: 1001



DTC 1001:



FROM System Info Error



NOTE:



- Check the vehicle battery condition first See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General



Diagnostics/Battery Test.



- This navigation DTC sets when there is an internal problem with the Flash-ROM.



- Check any official Honda service website for more service information about the navigation system.
