Is the resistance as specified?
YES -
Go to step 12.
NO -
Repair a short in the wires between the ACC unit and the branch of the F-CAN B line (F-CAN B H, F-CAN B L).?
12. Check for continuity between ACC unit 20P connector terminal No.7 and VSA modulator-control unit 46P connector terminal No.22, and
between ACC unit 20P connector terminal No.18 and VSA modulator-control unit 46P connector terminal No.1.
Is there continuity?
YES -
Faulty ACC unit; replace the ACC unit See: Cruise Control/Cruise Control Module/Service and Repair.?
NO -
Repair an open in the wire between the ACC unit and the branch of the F-CAN B line (F-CAN B H, F-CAN B L).?

1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
2. Check the brake lights without pressing the brake pedal.
Are the brake lights on?
YES -
Replace the brake light relay.?
