Is there continuity?
YES -
Repair a short to ground in the wire.?
NO -
Go to step 10.
10. Check for continuity between power tilt/telescopic steering control unit connector A (16P) terminals No. 7, No. 6, No. 10, No. 14, and No.
15 and power tilt/telescopic steering switch 13P connector terminals No. 1,No. 7,No. 3,No. 10, and No. 6 respectively.
Is there continuity?
YES -
Replace the power tilt/telescopic steering control unit.?
NO -
Repair an open in the wire.?

1. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
