It'll forever be one of our heroes.
The world didn’t see it coming, particularly not Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche. One of the greatest supercars of the 1990s came from Acura, more specifically Honda. Yes, Honda. Those big name brands were shocked too when they first saw the Acura NSX. Remember, it was the NSX that forced Ferrari to start building interiors whose quality didn’t resemble cardboard, and for Porsche to pay closer attention to, among other things, driver position.
Honda did literally everything right with the original NSX, such as getting Pininfarina to style its exterior. As for the interior, it was modeled after the cockpit of an F-16 fighter jet. This latest Petrolicious video follows Sean Lee, owner of this absolutely stunning 1991 NSX. It’s in perfect condition and doesn’t look its 26 years.
That’s because Lee and its previous caretakers have done such a wonderful job maintaining it. This NSX isn’t entirely all-original, namely the wheels and tires are aftermarket, but it does have many period correct parts. Think of it as “OEM plus.” We can easily live with that. While we’ve seen many original NSXs in varying states of modification, and even a few entirely original, this is the one we’re lusting after. Watch the video. You’ll see why.
