- This navigation DTC sets when a problem is detected in the USB circuit.



- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the general troubleshooting information See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Navigation



System/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/How to Troubleshoot the Navigation System.



1. Clear the hard error code.



2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II).



3. Go into the Diagnostic Menu, and select the Self-Diagnosis Mode in the Select Diagnosis Items menu See: Accessories and Optional



Equipment/Navigation System/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Navigation System Diagnostic Mode.



4. Check the System Links, then select the USB.



Is Connection OK indicated?



YES -



Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose connections at the USB cable.?



NO -



Go to step 5.



5. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).



6. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at audio-navigation unit connector K (7P), and USB cable connectors.



Are the connections OK?



YES -



Replace the USB subharness connected directly to audio-navigation unit. If the symptom is still present, replace the USB adapter or USB main



harness.?



NO -



Reconnect the connectors, and recheck.?
