Acura's MDX for the 2010 model year has been outfitted with some interesting and welcomed improvements. Although the Acura MDX has retained most of its exterior shape, the biggest addition to the MDX is the rear-view camera with a display embedded in the inside mirror. This new feature also offers an option up with an enhanced multi-mode rear camera that includes a 180-degree wide-angle camera allowing the driver to see vehicles approaching from the sides.
The traditional DVD-based navigation system in the MDX has been replaced by the hard-drive system, providing increased functionality and allowing for easier upgrades. The new system will help drivers avoid traffic congestion with an automatic re-routing feature based on data downloaded, a feature most welcomed to those of us who are faced with daily traffic jams.
