DTC Troubleshooting: B2240
DTC B2240:
XM Antenna line failure
1. Connect the HDS to the DLC.
2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II), and wait 30 seconds or more.
4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B2240 indicated?
YES -
Go to step 5.
NO -
Intermittent failure, the XM antenna is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver)
and the XM antenna.?
5. Check the XM antenna lead connection at the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) and at the XM antenna.
Is it connected properly?
YES -
Substitute a known-good XM antenna See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Antenna/Antenna, Radio/Service and Repair, and recheck. If the
symptom/ indication goes away, replace the original XM antenna See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Antenna/Antenna, Radio/Service and
Repair. If the symptom/indication is still present, update the AcuraLink control unit See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo, and
Compact Disc/Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning if it does not have the latest software, and recheck. If the software is the latest,
replace the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc/Service and
Repair/AcuraLink Control Unit (XM Receiver) Removal/Installation.?
NO -
Reconnect the connector, and recheck the DTC.?

DTC B2965:
Climate Control Unit Lost Communication with Rear Climate Control Panel
1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
3. Do the self-diagnostic function with the HDS.
4. Check for DTCs.
Is DTC B2965 indicated?
YES -
Go to step 5.
NO -
Intermittent failure, check for loose wires or poor connections in the rear climate control panel and climate control unit circuit.?
5. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
6. Disconnect the rear climate control panel 10P connector.
