The video is filmed like a story, detailing all of the 911 models from the base Carrera model up to the bonkers GT2 RS. All of the variants act as their own page in a book and we are introduced to a new 911 variant on each page, along with a short backstory.

The explanation begins with the base Carrera model, which was named after the famous Carrera Panamerican race in Mexico. It then goes into detail about the various 911 body styles and drivetrain options, including the convertible and all-wheel-drive models.

After delving through the more "pedestrian" 911 model, the video moves on to the hardcore, race-inspired GT models. The GT3 was designed for race and road use, while the more hardcore GT3 RS is more track-focused. Finally, the GT2 RS acts as the most powerful and fastest 911 model, pushing the 911 platform to its absolute limit.

Here's Nothing But 20 Minutes Of Porsches Lapping The Nurburgring

Musical, yet also visually stimulating.

Porsches and the Nurburgring have always gone hand in hand. It’s just one of those facts of life. What’s so great about the Nurburgring is that it’s also a toll road, meaning anyone can show up and pay the 29 euros entry fee on permitted days and have at it. Porsche owners take full advantage of this. And because of that there’s a lot of Porsche/Nurburgring footage taken every year, and as 2017 comes to a close, those compilation videos are starting to come in.

This one was taken by YouTuber statesidesupercars, a regular presence at the Ring. It’s a full 20 minutes of nothing but Porsches lapping the Nurburgring. You’ll like it. Promise. Which specific Porsches are partaking in the festivities?

Would You Buy An Electric Car That Charges In Just 10 Minutes?

General Motors is developing just such a car.

No matter how amazing electric cars become, they still lag behind internal combustion engines when it comes time to refueling - or in this case, recharging. Even using Tesla's fast-charging stations, EVs take around 30 minutes to charge, whereas a simple fillup of gasoline takes just a few minutes. Porsche has been trying to match Tesla with its own network of fast chargers and Honda claims its EVs will charge in just 15 minutes by 2022, but according to a report by Automotive News, these companies may all play the second fiddle to General Motors if the company's plans come to fruition.

GM is currently working with Delta Americas to develop a fast-charging system as part of a three-year project. The goal is to create an EV that can replenish its batteries with 180 miles of driving range in just 10 minutes. While not as quick as filling up with gasoline, this could open EVs to a broader market of consumers. GM is reportedly readying 20 EV models with this capability to go on sale by 2023.

GM's system would add about 18 miles of driving range per minute. Compare this to Tesla's superchargers, which add around six miles per minute, and Porsche's upcoming Taycan, which the company says will add around 12 miles per minute. GM's claims would place it at the top. As of now, the Chevy Bolt requires around 30 minutes to gain 90 miles of range, so cutting the time by two-thirds and doubling the range gained seems like a lofty goal. If GM is successful, it could change a lot of opinions about EVs.
