Is there continuity?
YES -
Go to step 12
NO -
Repair an open in the wire between the VSA modulator-control unit and the active damper control unit.?
12. Substitute a known-good active damper control unit See: Relays and Modules/Relays and Modules - Steering and Suspension/Relays and
Modules - Suspension/Suspension Control Module/Service and Repair.
13. Reconnect all connectors.
14. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
15. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
16. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
17. Start the engine, and wait 5 seconds.
18. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 8-6 indicated?
YES -
Replace the VSA modulator-control unit See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Traction Control
Module/Service and Repair.?
NO -
Replace the original active damper control unit See: Relays and Modules/Relays and Modules - Steering and Suspension/Relays and Modules -
Suspension/Suspension Control Module/Service and Repair.?

DTC 10:
Vehicle Speed Signal Error
NOTE: If DTC 110 and DTC 111 are stored at the same time as DTC 10, troubleshoot DTC 110 and DTC 111 first, then recheck for DTC 10.
1. Check for PGM-FI system DTCs with the HDS.
Are any DTCs indicated?
YES -
Troubleshoot the indicated PGM-FI system DTC(s).?
NO -
Go to step 2.
2. Check for VSA system DTCs with the HDS.
Are any DTCs indicated?
YES -
Troubleshoot the indicated VSA system DTC(s).?
NO -
Go to step 3.
3. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
