NOTE: If DTC 8-6 is stored at the same time as DTC 3-1, DTC 3-3, DTC 3-6, DTC 3-7, DTC 3-9, or DTC 3-A, troubleshoot DTC 8-6 first, then



recheck for DTC 3-1, DTC 3-3, DTC 3-6, DTC 3-7, DTC 3-9, or DTC 3-A.



1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).



2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.



3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).



4. Test-drive the vehicle around a corner for 2 seconds or more.



5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.



Is DTC 3-1, 3-3, 3-6, 3-7, 3-9, or 3-A indicated?



YES -



Go to step 6.



NO -



Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor or loose connections between the yaw rate-lateral/longitudinal acceleration sensor



and the active damper control unit.?



6. Check for VSA system DTCs with the HDS See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and



Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.



Is any DTC indicated?



YES -



Go to the indicated VSA system DTC's troubleshooting.?



NO -



Go to step 7.



7. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
