Go to step 6.

Is the HFL icon red?
YES -
Do the DTC 2705 troubleshooting See: 2705.?
NO -
Go to step 7.
7. Check the XM (HIP) System Link.
Is the Audio icon red?
YES -
Go to step 8.
NO -
Check the B-CAN DTCs. If any DTC is indicated, refer to the B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A See: Powertrain Management/Computers
and Control Systems/Information Bus/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Troubleshooting - B-CAN System
Diagnosis Test Mode A, and do the AcuraLink troubleshooting.?
8. Disconnect AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) connector A (32P) and audio-navigation unit connector D (14P).
9. Check for continuity between body ground and AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) connector A (32P) terminals No. 30 and No. 31
individually.
Is there continuity?
YES -
There is a short to body ground in the wire(s) between the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) and the audio-navigation unit. Replace the
affected shielded harness.?
NO -
Go to step 10.
10. Check for continuity between the terminals of AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) connector A (32P) according to the table.
