1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
4. Start the engine, and wait 5 seconds.
5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 5-1, 5-2, 5-3, 5-4, 7-1, 7-2, 7-3, 7-4, 7-5, E-1, E-2, E-5, E-6, E-7, E-8, E-A, or E-C indicated?
YES -
Replace the active damper control unit See: Relays and Modules/Relays and Modules - Steering and Suspension/Relays and Modules -
Suspension/Suspension Control Module/Service and Repair.?
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor or loose connections at the active damper control unit.?

DTC E-B:
Active Damper Control Unit Power Supply Circuit Malfunction
NOTE: Make sure the battery is fully charged and in good condition See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests
and General Diagnostics/Battery Test, and check the charging system See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Testing and
Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Alternator and Regulator Circuit Troubleshooting.
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
4. Start the engine, and raise the engine speed to 2,000 rpm.
5. Check and note IG1 VOLTAGE in the ACTIVE DAMPER SYSTEM DATA LIST with the HDS within 40 seconds after starting the engine.
